Can you introduce yourselves and tell us about your roles in the BUSTaBNB project?

Yea sure so I have a broad backround in IT, covering many areas, and I’ve been in and out of crypto for a long time.

I got involved in BUSTa about 4 months ago I think as the project lead — so I’ve designed a lot of what is now our platform. (with a whole lot of help from Crusher and everyone else on the team of course!!)

What lead to this idea?

Ok so BUSTa is pretty big and I could go on for days — well actually I did go on for weeks writing the GitBook so feel free to have a look there for anyone that wants to do a lot of reading :) docs.bustabnb.com

But in summary, it’s iGaming meets DeFi in a lot of new ways that either no one has done before, or no one has done well enough yet

We’re launching very soon with our first game — BUSTaCRASH — which is inspired from the original crypto crash game- bustabit.com

And alongside that, we have our own AMM, staking/farming, affiliate program, and it’s all going to be run in the near future by a DAO :)

With just a brief review of your docs I can see there is a lot of though placed into the development of this system.

Koven Leader
You mention that there are things you are doing that hasn’t been done before or well enough yet. Could you elaborate on that? What would be some of those things?

Neil ApeStrong
Yea absolutely, it’s taken up most of my waking hours over the last few months to get it to where it is now. Lot’s of R&D when into it, and it’s still happening now as we expand further

Yep so the first and most obvious is being able to play on our platform without registering with an email address

Neil ApeStrong
Just like with many other DeFi platforms, you can simply connect your wallet, deposit some BNB, then play — super easy!

Most iGaming platforms still require email registration and I don’t know about everyone here but that’s a real issue for me, it turns me off straight away

Secondly, we haven’t yet found a community governed iGaming platform out there and once we move to the DAO phase — which we’re aiming to do be end of August — almost every variable on our platform will be adjustable via a proposal and successful vote.

Meaning if our community isn’t happy with our 2% house edge, or our automated platform revenue distribution model, they can change it :)

We’re about to launch a working product before the IDO! Has that ever been done before in the history of crypto!?

It definitely isn’t! Congratulations on that. Regardless of if it happened before or not it’s still a great accomplishment

So this means interested investors can play the game before they even participate in the IDO?

Neil ApeStrong
Absolutely. We’ve been running a closed Alpha for a couple of weeks now for a very small group of lucky people, and we’ve moved to the closed Beta stage recently so there are already people playing the game.

I just got word about 30 mins ago that our public Beta is now ready for everyone to play — albeit with fake BNB still, until we switch to mainnet next week and people can play with real BNB

But, we do have to do a slow rollout so unfortunately I can’t share the link just yet here — I really wanted to but was told NO :)

When we’re on mainnet next week, potential investors will be able to see the house edge being collected as real BNB, which will help them make their decision about whether to take part in the IDO or not :)

So users win real BNB or do they earn BUST when playing?

Neil ApeStrong
So once we’re on mainnet, people will be playing with BNB, so they can win or lose real BNB.

We do have multiple “play to earn” features in development but they will come later

So the BNB earned is coming from the house (the money lost by other players over time), right?

Neil ApeStrong
Not quite. There are two things going on there. We have a Bankroll which will increase or decrease depending on if there was a net player win or net player loss on each round. So the player’s BNB will either be added to the bankroll if they lose, or taken from the bankroll if they win.

Then, we have the house edge which is currently set to 2% on launch. This means that out of every 100 games, 2 will crash immediately at a 1.00x multiple, so everyone in that round loses their bet but instead of that BNB going into the bankroll, it gets sent over to our automated house edge fee distribution contract.

From there it is split into different “buckets” where that BNB is used to buy BUST from the market and burn it, acquire and lock up liquidity, provide additional farming rewards for our BUST stakers, provide affiliate rewards, and finally some also goes to the platform treasury to either be added to the bankroll to keep increasing it over time, or we can use it for competitions and promotions etc.

Sorry! Made a mistake here, fixed now but just to be clear, that BNB is used to buy BUST from the market and burn it etc., not buy BNB, that would be a terrible idea!!

So before we go to the community section, I’d like to switch focus for a second.

Can you tell me about your decision to create BUSTaSWAP

Koven Leader
How does this impact investors and will BUST be on pancakeswap at any point?

Neil ApeStrong
Sure. So there’s a lot of hype around transaction taxes and personally I’m a big fan, as are a lot of people. But, there many aspects of tx taxes that I find super annoying like being charged the tax each time you make or break LP, or just sending your tokens to another wallet. It also makes it much harder to get listed on CEXs like Binance etc. as they have to also deal with the tx tax at their end for withdrawals and any time they want to move funds around internally.

We wanted a tx tax, but only on trades, nothing else. So we built our own AMM with the tx tax built in to the router and this is where we will list BUST on day 1.

Meaning, users are charged a tx tax on every trade on our platform, but the token contract is still naked, so they can freely send the token to other wallets, they don’t need to pay the tax each time they make or break LP, and for listing on a CEX it’ll be just like any other token that doesn’t have a built in tx tax

Having our own AMM also allows us to attract partner tokens to list on our platform both for having their token playable in our games, but also have their token tradable on our AMM, with custom tx taxes for each partner, with custom fee distribution for that revenue derived from the tax

For investors, two things:

They need to take into account the 4% tx tax for any trade of course.

But if they check out the flow chart that Crusher linked above, they’ll see that our tx tax fee distribution is almost identical to our house edge fee distribution. So for every trade on our platform, we’re also buying and burning BUST and acquiring and locking up more liquidity for trading etc.

Meaning, the more trading AND playing volume on our platform, the more BUST gets bought and burned, the more additional staking rewards there are etc. And since BUST has a limited supply, we can support constant buy pressure and reduced supply forever :)

Wow! So, correct me if I’m wrong, that means using your platform other tokens can generate revenue from tx taxes without implementing it into their own contracts?

Rules for posting questions in Starter AMA:

If the question is copy-pasted from external sources, winner will get disqualified for the next 10 AMA sessions and will not receive any reward. Our goal is to have AMAs that benefit our community and help shed insight on the project and it’s team. As such, the questions should be genuine, not copied from other AMAs.

All the remaining funds from the questions which were disqualified will be distributed to the community. The 80% remains will go to the AMA reward fund for Starter. So if the winner of option 2 gets disqualified, the reporting user wins $20 and $80 goes towards the winner of option 2 for the next AMA. This way, the next reward will be $180 instead of the usual $100.

liquidity is one of the biggest challenge in Decentralized Finance. So, what steps does BUSTaBNB take to solve the problem?

Thanks for the question.

We will use 40% of the raised funds from the IDO to add to liquidity for trading on our AMM, that’s already going to solve that problem.

But because we also have farming rewards for our stakers, people can stake BUST-BUSD and BUST-BNB to add more trading liquidity, and they’ll receive both BUST and BNB in rewards. Furthermore, those farming rewards are constantly topped up from a percentage of our platform revenue.

Also I should mention, the BNB farming rewards will initially come from 20% of the IDO funds raised.

And since I’m on the subject and people must be wondering, the remaining 40% of the IDO funds will go straight to the bankroll for bigger potential winnings!

So yea, all the IDO funds raised go straight back to benefit the community :)

Your project is not only interesting but also important, but it needs a large user traffic to be sustainable over time. What marketing strategies do you have planned to increase the validity of your brand ? Are you planning a strategic partnership to level up your project ?

We have loooooots of marketing planned with a large marketing budget, we’re just waiting for the game to be made public so we’re not marketing a future project, we’ll be marketing a current love product!

Our affiliate program is designed to be quite lucrative for influences etc. to talk about our product to their audience, so they will be a big driver of new users

Yep so we have 3 primary reasons to buy and hold the BUST token.

First is simply that the BUST token will be perpetually bought and burned as the platform generates revenue from trading, iGaming house edge, and partner fees. Buy pressure and burning increases token price.

Second, you can stake BUST to earn both BUST and BNB staking rewards that come initially from a staking contract, but will also be topped up with a decent percentage of the BNB raised from the IDO, and with BNB and BUST from the platform revenue.

Third, Governance. Soon after launch, BUSTaBNB will become a DAO and many aspects of the platform (like swap fee distribution etc.) will be adjustable via community proposals and voting with BUST. The more BUST people hold, the stronger their chance of getting a proposal passed.

Our yield farming rewards will come initially from our emission contract, but these are constantly topped up from our platform revenue. As we generate revenue, our smart contracts automatically buy more BUST from the market and add it to the emission contract, along with BNB generated from the game house edge.

Meaning if the platform grows as we expect, we’ll actually end up with more farming rewards coming out in future than we have on day 1 — which again is pretty unique :)

Hey thanks for the unique question!

The Bankroll pool is where the players can win BNB from, and where some players will lose their BNB to. We will seed it initially with a small amount of BNB just to get the ball rolling in beta, while further testing is done.

We’ll keep adding to it up to the full V1 game launch where we’ll have a much bigger bankroll — the bigger the bankroll the more people can win on each round.

Furthermore, a percentage of the platform revenue will be constantly added to the bankroll, meaning it will constantly grow over time, making more and more winning possible.

On day one we plan to have a BNB single stake pool to increase the BNB bankroll for the game and stakers in this pool will be rewarded with both BUST and BNB, with both of those rewards being topped up with platform revenue.

One of our goals with BUSTaBNB is to have the highest yield on BSC for a BNB single staking pool — which is entirely possible considering that there are very few platforms with single token BNB pools that have BNB added to them constantly from platform revenue. Soon we hope to compete with Binance’s own BNB staking pool :)

The bankroll will also grow to include more tokens as we integrate more partners.
